Sharing Information about Foster Youth

The Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) recently completed legal briefings that provide an overview of confidentiality law and policy as it pertains to sharing information about children in foster care.   The four briefings describe how education, health care, substance abuse, and mental health information can be shared between child welfare, the courts, providers and local and state agencies.  The project is described in more detail here.   The briefings are available from the AOC Center for Families, Children and the Courts but also can be downloaded here.
