About NCYL's Teen Health Rights InitiativeThe National Center for Youth Law's Teen Health Rights Initiative was established to provide resources and information to health care providers about California laws pertaining to minor consent, confidentiality, child abuse reporting, and other adolescent health concerns. Based on provider requests for information, the initiative’s staff research and create manuals, forms, and other resources to facilitate health care delivery to adolescents. Staff also respond to requests for technical assistance, education and training. The Teen Health Rights website is an integral part of this work. NCYL's Teen Health Rights Initiative is funded in part by a generous grant from the Richard and Rhoda Goldman fund. About this SiteDesigned to help California health care providers understand the many laws that impact their work with adolescents, TeenHealthRights.Org contains information on laws from minor consent and confidentiality to child abuse reporting, insurance regulations, and more. The website contains guidebooks on particular laws, as well as tools, charts, and other resources. The site’s initial focus is on laws that impact adolescent reproductive health care delivery.
